Breast feeding class

Last call for anyone who needs to fulfill their DONA certification requirements for Breastfeeding class.or just wants to learn more about how to help women with breast feeding. The class is this Sunday, October 25, 2:00-6:00 PM. The class is taught by Patrice Montoya:


Patrice Montoya, RNC, IBCLC

Patrice has been assisting women in childbirth and breastfeeding for 24 years. Her many years of experience include working with moms and babies in their homes as well as hospital, birth center and clinic settings. As the Nursing Director of a free standing birth center and its postpartum and breastfeeding support services, Patrice taught breastfeeding support classes to health care professional and doulas. Her mission, birthed from her own breastfeeding difficulties, is to empower women and their care providers with practical, evidence-based information.

Cost of the class is: $50.00

Will the play BIRTH is done. It went really well and it provoked alot of thought.

Working on a couple of things:

1) Prepping for the DONA Doula training and Breast Feeding class this weekend.

2) Working on the next Doula Connection night at My Baby News. Novembers free class will be a informational one on Cord Blood. Should be interesting.
